The summer sun is almost setting, which means new seasons of daytime talk shows are officially upon us! Though Live With Kelly and Mark has brought some new content, live episodes will not return until September. In just a few weeks, the husband-and-wife team of Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa will be back for completely live tapings in their new downtown New York studio.
This summer, Live With Kelly and Mark brought weekday viewers a mix of pre-taped episodes, with several that featured new host chats but old interviews and performances. According to DECIDER, who attended a taping earlier this summer, a production source revealed, “the Live family is currently on a summer break, which takes place every year.”
New Daytime Talk Show Tapings Begin in September
Though an official televised date has yet to be announced as to when the studio will welcome audiences again, according to 1iota, taping tickets can be requested for episodes starting on September 2nd. Though at the time of publication, the show will be taping two episodes, with the latter filming including scheduled appearances by Julianne Hough and Mark Ruffalo. 1iota offers fan experiences with free tickets for events across the country. Fans can sign up with a free account to access the chance to attend their favorite shows and events.
The current iteration of Live began when Mark, a steadfast guest co-host over the years, was brought in to replace former co-host Ryan Seacrest. Kelly has been on the morning show since 2001, when she replaced Kathie Lee Gifford. Her official co-hosts included Regis Philbin, Michael Strahan, and Seacrest. With no signs of stopping, the on- and off-camera couple will continue to heat up daytime this fall with fresh, new content.
